A young Lucario sat on the beach, watching the sun as it rose into the sky for a beautiful dawn. Well, the time wasn't right, but the moon most certainly was. He was waiting again, for the first time in weeks, to see if they would arrive. He had been waiting since midnight.

They weren't coming.

The Lucario sighed. He had guessed they wouldn't, but ever since that one day he had been hoping, wishing...

No. He mustn't think about it. He wasn't going to be all emotional. But still...

He began wondering. Not about him, but about her. Seren.

He wondered if she even knew he evolved. Her back had turned and she was already off on her way before it happened... would she know? Somebody would have told her... would he visit her?

He shook his head. If they met, she would know who he was. She would recognize...

He ran a paw over the ugly scar that cut across his left eye. She would most certainly recognize that. That had happened before he even MET her. It was his "trademark," they had always joked. It was how he and Damion met in the first place...

No, it was Blizzard now. It would take more than five months to get used to that.

Then he turned his thoughts to his team. Team Crescent. They would be wondering where he was, how he was doing. After all, he had disappeared right before midnight. They would assume he had been kidnapped or something.

He stood up, and finally spoke. "They're not coming... I might as well head back." It was a pretty rich and deep voice for one who was thirteen in Pokemon-years. "Team Crescent needs me, Ryo, their leader."

I'll tell the story of why that scar is how Damion and Ryo met later... it's a good one. Trust me.

"Urr....so tired...."
The plump female Munchlax rolled onto her back, her hazel eyes still clasped shut. Her scruffy side fringe flopped awkwardly over most of her purple star shaped 'birth-mark', as she so disguised it as.
"Man, what time is it?" she murmured, rolling onto her stomach and blinking at the bright light that shone in through her room's window. She groaned again. "Early, I can tell."
Slowly, she sat up and yawned, wrapping her bright red scarf around her fat neck. "What was I doing last night?" she asked herself, holding her head. Then suddenly, she remembered.

"Man, it's so peaceful in town at night. Who knew such a busy town could be so quiet?"
A smile crept over her round face as she pawed down the alley ways, no sound apart from her feet touching the floor, and her slow and heavy breathing. Before she realised it, her footsteps had led her down to the beach. She smiled, remembering The Good Old Days as she called them now.
She stopped as she saw a shape in front of her. 'Ryo?' she thought. There was no mistaking it was a Lucario, but...
It WAS him!
Quickly, she ran off. He was the only Pokémon who walked this earth to know her dreadful secret....

She winced. "Crap," she muttered, "No wonder I'm so groggy."
She shook her head wildly.
"Well Seren, todays a new day. Just forget about yesturday."
With that, she dashed out the door, smiling. Something good was coming her way, she just knew it!

bic: Vinetail woke up to a new day, and despite that, he slowly crawled out of his bed, groaning. Another fight with his enemy Blackhole had kept him awake almost all night. 'I need more sleep...' he thought, as he left his room and checked all the jobs that needed to be done. There were quite a few jobs today, but Vinetail decided to pick an easy-ish one to Waterfall Cave. He stayed silent as he started towards the Square, to gather up some items ready, because he was rather sleepy. He put all the Sleep Seeds he had in storage, to prevent the temptation of eating one. Who knows, he might even fall asleep in the middle of the dungeon! Forgetting to put every single PoKe he had on him in the Bank, he set off to Waterfall Cave, still looking half-asleep.

In fact, he didn't even make it to the dungeon without curling himself up next to a rock and sending himself to sleep. Just another disaster waiting to happen for when Blackhole of Team Half-Moon awoke.


But he too was extremely tired. Instead of getting up out of bed, Blackhole decided to 'oversleep'. "I got less than 8 hours sleep, so I'm sleeping till I do..." he told himself before settling down again.

Blizzard lay on his bed in the base. He couldn't sleep right now... his thoughts were between Seren and Ryo. Half of him felt sad but the other half was wondering why he was thinking of those two weaklings. He gave a growl. Was Damion getting through? He thought he had trapped that little weakling of an Alter-ego away for ever.
"Forget it, Dam... You stand no chance of getting this body back..." Blizzrad growled into the shadows of his base.
My friends will save me! Damion's voice hissed into Blizzard's head.
"Oh really? From where I see it, they want to destroy you... Along with me..." a fiery flick of red went in the white pikachu's blue eyes,
LIAR! was the answer to his reply.
Blizzard smirked, "Don't worry Dam... I'm not gonna let THAT happen... Although I can't stick having you in my head, I'm willing to live with you until I find some way to get rid of you once and for all..." the evil pikachu gave a laugh and sparks flowed from his cheeks, "Why do you just go back to sleep and leave the rest to me?" Blizzard whispered menacingly to himself.
You bastard... hissed Damion and then he fell silent.
Blizzard grinned and lay his head down. "That was easy..." he said.
